Tunch Makes Steelers All-Time Team

The Great Wolfini Rides Again

A few weeks ago, the Great Wolfini visited our Show at the Petersen Events Center. I was amazed as the great one made predictions about recent events in the Pittsburgh sports scene. Wolfini pontificated about Ken Whisenhunt's future in the 'Burgh and although spring training seems far off, Wolfini also commented on Pirates Baseball.

Lastly, we got down to business and predicted the winners of the AFC and NFC championships. Although Wolfini is the so-called clairvoyant, I proved that I know a thing or two since I correctly predicted that the AFC Champion Indianapolis Colts would go all the way and win Super Bowl XLI.

Nostradamus can rest easy - come to think of it so can I!

Pitt's Jamie Dixon and his Red Hot Panthers

Jamie Dixon, coach of the highly ranked University of Pittsburgh Basketball team, talked shop with Wolf and me at the Petersen Events Center late last month. Jamie talked about Aaron Gray's wrist injury and the vision that he has for his team heading into the later part of the season.

I asked Coach Dixon about Jim Calhoun's (University of Connecticut head coach) comments that suggested Pitt is the best team in the Big East. Though undefeated (at the time we talked), he humbly explained that with challenging opponents ahead, nothing is certain especially in the Big East.

Concluding the interview, Coach Dixon talked about the physical toughness of his players and the role Levon Kendall has taken in the success of the Panthers.

Sure looks like there's great things in store for the Pitt Panthers Mens Basketball Team!

Pitt Basketball's Renaissance Man

In late January, the University of Pittsburgh's Levon Kendall took the time out of his busy schedule to sit down and chat with Tunch and me. The Canadian basketball star's impressive 3.2 G.P.A. and selflessness out on the court won him our prestigious Locker Room Leader award. Congratulations Levon!

The 6'10" award winner talked about his love of extreme sports and his experiences playing basketball in Europe over the summer, where he had the chance to play with NBA stars. While Tunch was interested in Levon's experience as an athlete, I just wanted to know about the scrumptious European cuisine. Nonetheless, Levon's character on and off the court and his eccentric style proved to be both inspiring and entertaining.

I'm curious, do yins think I could pull off that hairstyle...IF I HAD ANY HAIR?
